The product relates to the field of computer-aided design (CAD) and more particularly to a new and useful method to design, arrange and apply roof shingles to enhance the beauty of roofs.

The software selects from Pattern & Color Library or designs a pattern of shingles applies a color design to that pattern and uses data generated from that software to apply that shingle pattern and design to a roof. Shingle 99 allow users to design color patterns for ceramic tiles or bricks for walls, walkways, floors and roofs, providing an appropriate size has been set for these alternate materials. Maximum single design roof area allowed is 20,000 square feet (using metric shingles) or 200x200 visible 1-tab shingles or tiles. The color combinations we provide on version 1.0 simulate GAF Materials Corporation 3-tab shingle colors (Royal Sovereign-RS and Sentinel-S). 63 design patterns & 37-RS and 28-S color combinations are grouped in 10 (pat) files:
